For IDS 2025 in Cologne, we implemented the sustainable stand concept developed by f/p design gmbh for Morita. The objective of the project was to combine ecological responsibility with a clear and modular architectural approach.
The concept was based on resource conservation and reusability. Standard construction scaffolding was used as a central structural element and returned to rental circulation after the event. In addition, recyclable and biodegradable materials were incorporated. Textile design elements such as fabric panels and banners were conceived for flexible and multiple use.
The result was a modular stand in an industrial design language that not only communicated sustainability but implemented it structurally. The reduced and clear architectural expression reflected the company’s values.
Morita follows the Japanese philosophy of the “four major commitments”: nature, nation, family and life. This responsible approach toward environment and society formed the conceptual foundation of the exhibition presence and was consistently translated into the spatial design.
The project demonstrates that sustainable exhibition construction and high-quality design are not contradictory, but can be effectively combined both functionally and aesthetically.
