Task: Presentation of the Halfen products FPA and HK5 in a realistic setting using an actual concrete slab.
The main challenge lay in combining different materials such as concrete, steel, acrylic glass and wood. To ensure a reliable and durable result, various bonding tests were carried out in our production facility under different temperature conditions.
The finished display is modular in design and can be used flexibly for different applications – either presenting each product individually or showcasing them together, as implemented at BAU 2017.
For the illustrative presentation of a lifting anchor, we developed an exhibit that clearly visualizes function, application and load scenario.
The central element is a suspended concrete slab with integrated recesses for the anchor points. The slab is mounted using visible lifting gear, realistically simulating the hoisting process on a construction site. A crane silhouette positioned above establishes the application context and creates a clear visual reference.
Rear LED backlighting provides precise contour definition and visually separates the exhibit from the background. This not only ensures strong long-distance visibility but also directs focus to the technical function of the product.
The exhibit combines real materiality with a reduced, graphic presentation. The objective was to communicate the functionality of the lifting anchor in a comprehensible way while maintaining a clear and structured display concept.
